About Tammy

I am proud to be a native Springfieldian and am blessed beyond measure to be married to my wonderful husband, Robert.  We are the parents of twin girls, Samantha Jean and Wally Susannah, and will probably be adopting a little boy (Shih Tzu) sometime in future.  I have a wonderful career and enjoy singing in the choir at Ridgecrest Baptist Church.  In May 2005, during a trip to Alaska to visit one of my best friends, I learned how to knit! I thought there was something wrong with me as I immediately became a yarn snob, started acquiring a stash, and began searching out the local yarn shops whenever we traveled. But then I discovered the abundance of websites and blogs of people just like me. “ I was not alone!  I am not crazy!  I am a knitter!

My other hobbies include rubber stamping, scrapbooking, and organizing closets just for fun!  (Okay, so I’m a little crazy!)  I also love to travel and am a little bit of a geek when it comes to electronics and money.
