Today is the day that many people get up at the crack of dawn to go stand in line in the cold waiting for stores to open to spend money they don’t have buying things they don’t need just because it’s on sale. (Yes, I’m cynical.) And not even that good of a sale – did you see the Best Buy BF ad? Smack dab, front and center, was a Guns ‘N Roses CD for $11.99 – and this was a “doorbuster” deal. Um, yeah, I’m sleeping in, thanks.
What am I doing today, then? It’s our Annual Peanut Brittle Makin’ Days at my folks’ house. And, I imagine I’ll spend some quality time knitting – I still need to finish a pair of socks for a Christmas gift, and I’m working on some mini ornaments. But as you guessed, I definitely won’t be going shopping. If you’re out there braving the crowds, more power to you!

We don’t do the shopping thing, either. Have fun with your family!
I messaged DarthRobert to tell him that the Guns ‘n Roses CD was the thing you wanted most for Christmas. LOL
I am with you on Black Friday. I am staying as far away from stores as possible.
There’s no amount of money saved that can get me out of bed. We could have possibly saved $$$ on our new tv but it wasn’t worth it to stay in line only to find out it sold out.
We went out around 1pm since most of the sales are done before noon. We needed some SBux.
