An Early Christmas Present

Today was one of those days where my mind was elsewhere. It was hard to concentrate on work, because I was thinking of all the baking and Christmas stuff I still had to do, and I was also keeping an eye out for one particular e-mail. Fortunately, that e-mail came this morning, as I was one of the lucky ones in the lottery to get to attend the 2009 Spring Fling hosted by The Loopy Ewe!
I went to the first Spring Fling last year, and although I was a little nervous, I ended up meeting many wonderful knitters who I’ve come to know even better through Ravelry, Twitter, and Plurk. I think the next Fling is going to be even better because many of the same people are coming back, so it will be like a reunion, too!
I’ve got a lot to look forward to in 2009!
