One Hour

Yeah, no matter what my intentions, I just can’t seem to stay on top of blogging right now. And with this weekend, I have one less hour to think about everything that has to be done before we leave for Italy, I have one less hour to knit on my Slouchy Cardi, I have one less hour of sleep, and one less hour to do basically anything.
For the record, I’m halfway through my 3rd sleeve for the SC – I decided to just start over and knit an entirely new one, because after blocking the first one it did not bounce back to its original state and was too holey. I’m still thinking I’m fine to finish before the trip, though, although I’m so ready to be knitting something else.
And that something else will probably be socks, because the yarn is wound and needles and patterns are ready for my travel knitting. We’re pretty much ready to go except for packing our clothes. I’m really excited about the trip, but at the same time, I’m a little on edge because it’s so different than anything I’ve ever done before, and there’s so much to think about and now, there’s even less time to think about it!
So, I’m getting off the blog and going back to checking things off my list. Hopefully, I’ll have a finished sweater by the next time I post (and hopefully, that won’t be more than a few days away)!
