My to-do list has been exceeding my available time lately, but this weekend was the first I’ve not been traveling for a while and it was actually very productive.
I knit (and, shhh! crocheted) a few baby items for my niece who’s expecting, but no photos, so as not to ruin the surprise.
I went to the first Simply fibers Knit In of the season and finished the stockinette portion of Ishbel.
I finally took a photo of my finished Shawl That Jazz. It’s smaller than I’d hoped, but I still love it. I’ll definitely have to make another of these with the right amount of yardage.

I spun on my new Road Bug spinning wheel and finally got it going pretty well. Tip: the tension has to be extremely loose in order to get any take up, which is opposite of my Schacht Matchless wheel. I’m very excited to get back into spinning mode.
I randomly cast on and finished another Star-Crossed Slouchy Beret using the Queensland Rustic Wool that I picked up at Webs last Monday. Love, love, love this pattern.

Maybe one of the things that helped me be so productive was this view out of my living room window. I love fall!
