Blessings

I’d be lying if I said that this hasn’t been a hard year on my family, but even so, we have so much to be thankful for. Taking a cue from the old hymn, “count your many blessings, name them one by one . . .” I thought I’d take a few minutes to do so.
1. I have a wonderful loving and supportive husband
2. Although I lost my mom in August, I still have my dad to spend time with
3. My sister and I have grown closer this year
4. Robert and I have good jobs and actually enjoy what we do
5. I have amazing friends, both old and new
6. I have a nice home with plenty of room for yarn
7. I have two beautiful cats and an adorable Shih Tzu pup
8. I have both time and money to indulge in my knitting obsession
9. We have had many opportunities to share our blessings with others this year
10. God is in control of my life
