This time of year it seems that my schedule gets more and more packed with parties, events, and other things to do, and the calendar fills up quickly. But somehow, this year, in the midst of all of it, I have been on a knitting frenzy.
Here’s what I’ve done this month:
After a mad push, I finished A Cardigan for Arwen on November 14. Right now, I’m still disappointed in the yarn I chose, Berroco Comfort (which is very splitty and I’ll not use again), but I’m hoping I’ll eventually like this sweater better.

I’ve been knitting hats. Lots of hats.
Meret (in Elsebeth Lavold Angora):

Star-Crossed Slouch Beret (in Queensland Rustic Wool):

Another Star-Crossed Slouchy Beret (in Knit Picks Comfy – Jalapeno):

The Yarn Harlot’s Unoriginal Hat (in some super bulky hand-dyed I bought in Alaska):

Pretty Puffs Slouchy Hat (Yikes! This one’s crocheted! – in Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Super Chunky):

I knit these Phenomenon Mittens, which my sister saw at Knit Together last week and asked, “Oh, are these for me? I love them – can I have them?” So she’s getting a not-such-a-surprise extra Christmas gift.

And, I’ve completed seven small secret projects for my upcoming new great-niece or nephew (yes, I’m excited about this one!), but since they’re secret, no pictures.
I’ve got until the 30th to finish my Ishbel shawl for the Numma Numma KAL, so I’ll be working on that this weekend.
Now you see why I haven’t been blogging so much.
Yeah, I Knit
