Moving from one sport to another (and sad that the Saints beat the Colts in the Super Bowl), it’s time for the Olympics – USA, USA, USA!
More importantly, it means it’s time for Ravelympics and the Yarn Harlot’s Knitting Olympics. I’ve never participated before, but this year, I got sucked into the madness. I cast on last Friday night during the Opening Ceremonies for a February Lady Sweater made from Dream in Color Classy in the Flame Season colorway. And I just have to say that the DIC Classy is amazing! It is a thousand times better than Cascade 220, which I’m about to banish from my stash. I have a Shalom cardi on the needles right now in C220, but it may get frogged.
Anyway, I’ll be knitting my fingers to the bone trying to not only finish the sweater, but also my Argus shawl for the TLE Spring Fling February KAL. I got distracted by my extra large Clapotis, which I just finished today (here’s a tip: don’t make one out of mohair), and a Sideways Grande Cloche hat.
Maybe someday soon I’ll get around to taking pictures of these projects, but for now, it’s back to knitting!
